Upload Videos
Cleio AI accepts video recordings of user interviews, usability tests, and research sessions. Videos are automatically transcribed with speaker identification.Supported Formats
- File types: MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI
- Maximum size: 1.5 GB per video
- Recommended: 720p or 1080p resolution for best transcription quality
How to Upload
- Navigate to your project’s Videos tab
- Click Upload Video or drag and drop files into the upload area
- Wait for the upload to complete
What Happens Next
After upload, Cleio AI automatically:- Processes the video — Extracts audio and prepares for transcription
- Generates transcript — Creates a full transcript with timestamps
- Identifies speakers — Labels different speakers (Speaker A, Speaker B, etc.)
- Creates thumbnail — Generates a preview image
Upload Status
| Status | Meaning |

| Uploading | File is being transferred |

| Error | Something went wrong — try re-uploading |
Tips for Better Transcription
- Good audio quality — Clear audio produces more accurate transcripts
- Minimal background noise — Reduce ambient sounds when recording
- One speaker at a time — Overlapping speech is harder to transcribe accurately
- Standard accents — Heavy accents may reduce accuracy slightly
Managing Videos
- Rename: Click the video title to edit
- Delete: Click the menu (⋮) and select Delete
- View transcript: Click on any video to see its full transcript
